"Sunrise" team visit 23-Apr-2013

Thanks to the "Sunrise" team who came to visit us today.  The cool and the drizzle didn't stop these two young lasses from getting up to say "Hi" to James Tobin.

Early Snowfalls 19-Apr-2013

Look what we woke up to this morning.  Hopefully this means we're up for a ripper season this winter.  8cm of snow at 2pm and it's still snowing.  We're expecting snow throughout the weekend.  

Easter 30-Mar-2013

Dinner Plain played host to so many activities over Easter.  As a result of the recent bush fires, the state government and the Alpine Shire provided funding to the community to run events over the weekend.  Events and activities were offered to add to the experience of Easter in Dinner Plain for people staying in the village as well as to entice day trippers to visit Dinner Plain.  Activities on offer included:  Children's Art & Crafts, baby animal nursery, North East Produce Expose, Car Boot Sale, Jumping Castle, Children's Movie Nights, CFA Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser.  A number of activities were fundraisers for the Hotham/Dinner Plain CFA.  Funds raised for the local services totalled $2457.
